As this is my first blog post, I want all of the posts to be informational, educational, exciting and fun. In order to keep it fresh I will be having guests from time to time to give you their expert options on a given topic. Your feedback is going to be the key in making this a success.
One of the most common and most important topics is tension, so the tip for the week is simple; when sewing, the stitch that you see on the “top” of your fabric is caused by the bottom (or bobbin) tension. And the stitch you see on the “bottom” is cause by the top tension. The simplest way to correct this tension issue is to simply “rethread your bobbin or rethread the top”!
Take your time at it, and good luck!
